John,

Sorry to bother you on a Saturday, but we are in the final hours of our critical end-of-quarter deadline push, and I wanted to remind you how important it is that we reach our budget target tonight.

Every indication is that we have an extremely tough fight ahead of us to prevent Donald Trump or any other disastrous MAGA Republican from flipping Minnesota red and ending up in the White House next year.

Election analysts at FiveThirtyEight are warning that Minnesota Democrats are too “complacent,” and Governor Walz is doing everything he can to sound the alarm.

Republicans are desperate to make an example of us after our historically successful legislative session this year. It’s up to us to stop that from happening, but we’ll have no choice but to cut back on our work if we come up short tonight.

To make up the difference, we need to raise $8,621 between now and midnight. It’s doable, but it’s going to take an all-hands-on-deck effort.

I’ll be sending Governor Walz his next update at 7:00 pm tonight. Can I let him know you pitched in to help us close the gap? Please send a donation that works for you right away.
