We’ve seen the power of a grassroots team in action before, John: Last year, on Election Day 2022, pollsters only gave Emilia a 19% chance of winning. But this team showed up and showed out – and thanks to folks just like you across Northeast Ohio, we were able to defeat Emilia’s radical opponent and send a true fighter to Congress.

So that’s why, even when faced with the biggest deadline of our re-election campaign to date, we’re only asking for $1.

Here’s what will happen when the clock strikes midnight:

Our team is legally required to publicly report our fundraising numbers dating back to July 1st to the Federal Election Commission. When that report goes public, the Republicans targeting us will study it closely to assess the strength of our grassroots team. They’ll be comparing our team now to where our team was last year to see if Emilia still has the grassroots support that powered her to victory in 2022.

If everyone that reads this chipped in just $1 – really, just $1! – we would be able to prove that our people-powered team hasn’t gone anywhere. So please, John, will you chip in $1 before midnight to help us reach our goal and put forward the strongest report possible?
