That public show of support matters so much, especially right now.
This is a moment when Republicans are eagerly threatening to shut down the government to enact their harmful agenda — when some leaders are still lying to the public about the last election. This is a time when a candidate for president called me the “modern grand wizard of the KKK,” which was intended to be as backward and harmful as it sounds.
Our FEC report will showcase a team that isn’t intimidated by bullies. We’re a people-powered movement, and we aren’t afraid to push back against hate, confront our climate crisis with urgency, or fight for abortion care as a fundamental human right. It’s so important that we demonstrate that right now, while an extreme Republican opposition is gaining momentum, our grassroots team is strong and getting stronger, too.
