John, my name is Marcus, a proud Columbus local (Hi Reynoldsburg!), and this is why I #Morganize.

I’ve witnessed firsthand how our community has become vastly more unequal as it has grown. It’s not hard to see the reality beneath the narrative of Columbus’ economic growth: more and more Central Ohioans are being forced from their homes and struggling to make ends meet.

This happened on the watch of a political establishment that says the right things about progress in public while silencing dissent and keeping the majority of Central Ohioans disengaged from politics.

This failure of leadership is why I was inspired to join this movement to put a generation of bold, grassroots leaders into office. And that’s what this truly is — a movement. I know Morgan has what it takes to be a fearless representative for all of the people of Central Ohio. Will you play your part by contributing to her campaign so no one is left behind?

I #Morganize by knocking on doors and supporting the team at canvass launches, which keep getting larger every weekend. I’ve learned how much time, hard work, and resources go into building our movement. Now, with just three weekends to go, we need more support than ever to keep our volunteers inspired and talking to voters at their doors. No contribution is too small when you’re facing a well-funded political machine.

This movement is so special. We don’t have big corporate donors, but what we do have is even more powerful — thousands of ordinary people coming together and contributing whatever they can to make extraordinary change in our community.
