I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the birthday wishes (and donations)! So many of you chipped in, and as we approach our critical end-of-quarter deadline tomorrow night, your support has been the most meaningful gift.

It truly means a lot, especially for someone who has to fundraise on their own birthday. It’s been a hectic week, but luckily, I found some time to relax and have dinner with Paolo last night. 

When we launched this campaign, I made a promise that we’d always put the people CA-41 first -- in how we campaign and in what my focus will be in Congress once I’m elected.

These days, it seems politicians in Congress are more focused on theatrics and partisan games than delivering results. We can’t accept that reality, John. Public office should be about public service. That’s what this campaign is about.

Speaking of public service, these past few weeks have been a clear reminder that folks like my opponent Ken Calvert aren’t interested in governing. We’re on the brink of government shutdown, and Calvert and his MAGA allies are focused on a sham impeachment inquiry. 

Our community deserves better, and the good news is we’re on a strong pathway to flipping this seat next year, but we truly can’t do this without you:
