If you don’t have time to read my note (that’s okay!), can I count on you to pitch in a few dollars to our grassroots campaign before you click away? Every dollar we raise this quarter will go directly toward building out our campaign operation to ensure we have what it takes to defend this seat from the extremists looking to flip it red. I know I’ve said it before, but the stakes of this election could not possibly be any higher. Everyday in Congress, I bear witness to the radical Republicans attempting to use their Majority to take away our reproductive rights, undermine our democracy, and ensure that the next generation of Americans has fewer fundamental freedoms. So for the sake of my daughter, her entire generation, and families across the country: Taking back the House Majority has never been more important. I’m fighting harder than ever to stand up to far-right extremists, take back the House, and deliver meaningful change for families across Oregon. But in an election as competitive and expensive as ours, I can’t do it alone. It’s the support of this grassroots team – month after month – that enables us to secure the resources we need to defend this seat and flip the House next November. But since we’re still running a few thousand dollars short of our end-of-quarter goal, I’m coming to you personally to ask you to chip in $5, $25 or whatever makes sense for you. Time is running out before we have to publicly report our fundraising numbers to the FEC, so please can I count on you?
