John, according to a Rasmussen poll published this past May, that’s how many likely California voters support parental secrecy policies that keep parents in the dark about their children “transitioning” at school.
If you looked at the legislation introduced and passed over the last year, you might think that number was closer to 50% or 70%.
But even in a state like California, routinely responsible for the worst legislation in the country, voters want parental rights upheld and protected.
Will you give $35 or more to the Center for American Liberty today, and give our team the resources needed to fight for the will of Californians and all Americans?
Because despite what we see on social media or the news, common sense is still common.
Most people believe that parents should be involved in their children’s lives.
Most people believe if someone is too young to get a tattoo or see an R-rated movie, they’re too young to surgically “change their gender.”
And most people believe that parents – not government employees – should be making medical decisions concerning their own children.
Even Gavin Newsom quietly vetoed a bill that required courts to consider a parent’s affirmation of his or her child’s gender “transition” when determining custody and visitation rights.
Because as terrible as Newsom’s policy positions have been since taking office, he knows signing that bill would have ruined his chances of getting elected to a higher office.
The numbers are on our side, John.
But transgender activists have infiltrated our schools, our hospitals, and every level of government.
They pull on our heartstrings by telling us lies.
They pretend it’s in the best interest of children, they pretend they’re saving lives, and they pretend a child can be trusted to make permanent medical decisions by themselves.
But the truth is transgenderism in children is a social contagion being carefully engineered to target vulnerable young girls.
According to a study published by Brown University’s School of Public Health, 82.8% of “rapid-onset gender dysphoria” cases are among adolescent females with an average age of 16 years old.
Over the summer NHS England similarly reported that more than two-thirds of all referrals to gender clinics are referrals of adolescent girls.
Per a 2019 American Academy of Pediatrics study, in Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California health system alone, between February 2015 and June 2018, doctors treated 417 “gender-nonconforming pediatric patients” between the ages of 3 and 17. And of those patients, 77% underwent mastectomies.
And finally, according to the same Brown University study I referenced moments ago, 62.5% of “rapid-onset gender dysphoria” cases among children are children who have been previously diagnosed with at least one mental health disorder.
This isn’t coincidental, John. It’s social contagion targeting vulnerable young girls.
And if we’re going to stop this madness and protect young girls from being groomed in government-run schools and from being surgically mutilated in “gender clinics,” we desperately need your support.
Because even though the American people are on our side, the money is not.
The organizations pushing for childhood transition and parental secrecy policies have billions on hand to use as they see fit.
We’ve beat the Left before and we can beat them again with a fraction of their funding – but not without a fight.
So if you’re in the position to give a generous, tax-deductible gift of $35 or more to the Center for American Liberty, I hope you will.
You and I are all that’s standing between American children and a special interest lobby willing to sacrifice the health of girls to advance to political power and line Big Pharma’s pockets.
If there was ever a time to act, it’s now.
