My campaign team and I understand that you hear a lot from campaigns this time of year about their urgent fundraising deadlines and how vital it is that they reach the goals they set.

I don’t make these requests lightly, so I hope to provide some much-needed context. We need to raise $20,000 to reach our goal. Here is an update on where we are:

My campaign team and I are constantly revising and perfecting our blueprint for victory. We know what we must do every day of our campaign to gain momentum.

Our FEC fundraising goals are at the center of these discussions. Our blueprint requires resources, time, money, and, quite frankly, blood, sweat, and tears. What we can and can’t do to secure our victory depends on if we reach our goals. We don’t set our goals arbitrarily; we shape our path to winning with intent.

So please know that from the bottom of our hearts, we are being 100% genuine during these fundraising blitzes. Every contribution does count. Every goal we reach will get us closer to victory. We appreciate your support too much to be anything less than 100% honest about where our campaign is headed.

With that in mind, the end of this FEC quarter is tomorrow night at midnight, and I need your support to ensure we reach our goal for the quarter. Anything you can contribute will immediately impact charting a path back to victory.
