Hi there,
It's Hannah, the Campaigns Director for the Fairness Project.
As we approach the end of September, we're facing a critical fundraising deadline that comes at a pivotal time for reproductive rights across the United States. Will you help us meet our end-of-quarter goal by donating before tomorrow night? Your support will directly contribute to our ongoing and upcoming campaigns aimed at protecting access to abortion through ballot measures in 2023 and 2024.

The landscape for reproductive rights continues to shift, and we have to stay light on our feet to respond. Currently, 12 states have enacted near-total bans on abortion, and another 7 states have either significant restrictions or limited availability. However, our achievements last November showcased the power of the electorate: we successfully defended access to abortion in 5 different ballot measures during the 2022 midterm elections. That's evidence that when voters have a say, they choose to protect their reproductive freedoms.
But right now, we're standing at a crossroads: Either we passively watch as extremist lawmakers continue to chip away at abortion access, or we can take decisive action.
We've identified states where ballot measures have the potential to either restore or permanently secure access to abortion. As we speak, we’re in the planning stages for many of those states and have already launched major campaigns like the one in Arizona as we get ready for the 2024 election cycle. We're committed to empowering every voter with the opportunity to influence policies around reproductive freedom in their state.
If you stand with us in this critical mission, please consider making a donation of $15, $25, $50, or whatever you can afford before tomorrow's midnight deadline. Your support is invaluable for jump-starting these crucial campaigns and preserving access to abortion across the country.
