Earlier this year, I became the youngest city councilor in Burlington. But before my own campaign, I worked to help elect Becca Balint as her Finance Director last cycle.

I can tell you from personal experience why this FEC filing deadline is so important.

First, as a freshman member of Congress, Becca has a lot to prove. She’s become the target of nasty online attacks, so putting up a strong finance report is critical to showing that we stand with Becca and we’re going to keep her in the House.

Second, campaigns take a massive amount of resources. Even smaller city council races like mine take thousands of grassroots dollars to be able to pull off. In order to run another statewide campaign, hire staff, and open offices, Becca needs us to step up and help fuel her campaign operation!

Becca continues to commit her life to public service and use her voice to uplift the next generation of leaders who will move Vermont forward – including me!
