I'm deeply grateful for every grassroots donor who chips in to help power
our movement — because funding our campaign from the grassroots level
makes a powerfully important difference.

Over time, a democracy with political campaigns funded by a small number
of people who can contribute a lot of money looks very different from a
democracy with campaigns funded by a large number of people who chip in a
little at a time.

It’s the difference between a government that works great for those at the
top and a government that can work for everyone.

With a grassroots-funded movement, we can fight back against powerful
interests like the gun lobby, Big Pharma, and fossil fuel giants who've
used their deep pockets to block the change we’re fighting to make.

And every three months, when we publish our fundraising numbers after the
quarterly FEC deadline, we get a chance to show that grassroots donors
like you are still in this fight.

whatever makes sense by tomorrow's important deadline? Your donation will
support my re-election campaign and keep up the fight for creating
universal child care, passing a wealth tax, getting corruption out of our
government, and much more.

We need to defend and expand our Senate majority, retake the House, and
re-elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2024 — because everything we’re
fighting for would be a whole lot easier if we had more champions for
working people in office. And our chances of making big, structural change
all come screeching to a halt if Republicans take any more power.

Democrats win when we go out there and fight for the bold action that
families need. But winning majorities is not enough. We need to use those
majorities to pass plans that truly transform the lives of working people
in this country.

So I’m fighting my heart out to get as much done as possible with the
Congress we have now. And I’m working to elect more Democrats up and down
the ballot so we can expand our majorities and get more of our plans on
the table.
