Andy Beshear: It's all of us chipping in for what's right and to do what's right that's gonna make sure we come out on top.
Hi there, it's Governor Andy Beshear. In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to split a donation between the DGA and my campaign before tomorrow night’s final end-of-quarter deadline before Election Day. But first, I want to tell you exactly what’s on the line in just 39 days.

My opponent is being bankrolled by Wall Street billionaire donors and outside groups pouring millions of dollars into misleading TV ads to try to buy the election. And right now, Politico is calling this race “dramatically close.”

John, we can’t win races like mine without your help. We’re counting on grassroots supporters like you to step up and help ensure we continue moving in the right direction. Will you chip in $3 before midnight tomorrow to be split between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association? We're counting on your gift to hit the DGA’s $75,000 end-of-quarter goal and defend the progress we’ve made here in Kentucky and across the country.

If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately. All donations to the DGA will be quadruple-matched up to our goal:

Donate $3 (AND HAVE IT 4X MATCHED)
Donate $6 (AND HAVE IT 4X MATCHED)
Donate $12 (AND HAVE IT 4X MATCHED)
Or donate other amount (AND HAVE IT 4X MATCHED)
I know what it's like to win tough battles.

In 2019, I won by less than 0.35% – that’s 5,136 votes. It was the closest gubernatorial election in the country– and the second closest ever in Kentucky. We faced stiff competition that year. But we prevailed, and since I stepped into office, we've made tremendous strides forward for our Commonwealth.

From expanding voting rights to defending health care access to growing our economy and achieving the lowest unemployment rate in the history of Kentucky – I've fought every day to make life better for working families. Because that’s what my campaign is all about: putting people over politics.

But that record is under attack. This time around, we're going up against the entire force of the GOP establishment – including Mitch McConnell's handpicked candidate and protégé – in a race that’s being called the most competitive in the nation. My opponent and the four super PACs propping him up are expected to spend at least $10 million on TV ads that lie about my record. It’s clear they're ready to spend – and say – whatever it takes to undo our progress and drown out my hopeful message.

So, with just 39 days until this election, we cannot afford to fall short. I’m personally asking you now, team: can you split a donation of $3 – or whatever you can – between the DGA and my campaign to keep our fundraising on track and build on Democratic progress in states like Kentucky? Right now, a group of generous donors is quadruple-matching all gifts to the DGA dollar-for-dollar. So please don’t waste another minute and have your gift quadrupled before this critical deadline.

Thank you for all you do,

Andy Beshear
Governor of Kentucky

In his first term as governor, Andy Beshear has a long record of accomplishments. He's restored voting rights to over 187,000 Kentuckians, secured low-cost health care for tens of thousands, had the best economic development year on record, and the lowest unemployment rate in state history. Now he’s running for reelection to make the Bluegrass State the best place it can be for generations to come.

He needs your help, team. Will you split a donation between Gov. Beshear's campaign and the DGA before midnight tomorrow to defend our blue firewall in Kentucky and across the country?
