John, as a senior member and former Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, I’m proud to have my friend and Nevada’s first Black representative in Congress, Steven Horsford, at the helm of our caucus.

Steven is the first Frontline member to lead the CBC. Here’s what that means for Steven, plain and simple: He’s facing one of the country’s most competitive races in the country. In fact, the NRCC made Steven one of its top targets this cycle.

With national Republicans targeting Steven, he needs our help now more than ever. So I’m hoping that together, we can help Steven before the FEC deadline, John. Will you split a contribution between his campaign and mine before his end-of-quarter deadline runs out?

Steven is committed to the Congressional Black Caucus’ vision to lift up Black voices in our democracy, expand opportunities for all working Americans, and make our country the best version of itself. 

He’s a champion for voting rights, criminal justice reform, creating jobs, getting broadband into more homes, and ensuring every family has a roof over their heads and food on the table.
