For the last decade, the team at Shift WA has exposed the hypocrisy about Governor Jay Inslee's global traveling escapades, including attending
climate change conferences in Finland, Scotland, and France. Rather than pursue other, less carbon-intensive options for sharing his voice at such
meetings of the global elite, our “green” governor took many opportunities for lavish travel on the taxpayer’s dime.
Most recently, we pointed
out how our “green” governor traveled – with his wife – to the United Nations to deliver a four-minute speech on climate
change. Apparently, soon-to-be-ex-Governor Inslee is so committed to the climate change agenda that he willingly emitted 5,400 pounds of CO2 to give a
four-minute speech that he could have delivered via Zoom.
Of course, Inslee’s lavish, taxpayer-funded trip to the Big Apple wasn’t really about climate
change. He's on the hunt for his next job! Thankfully, Inslee won't be seeking re-election, but that won't stop him from using your
hard-earned taxpayer dollars for his personal job search.
To shed a humorous light on Inslee’s search for his next endeavors we've taken the liberty of
creating a resume that outlines his biggest environmental "achievements.”
