Letter from the Mayor

Dear Washingtonians,

It's been a busy Art Week in DC. We kicked things off on Monday with a reminder of all the creative celebrations happening, including Theatre Week [ [link removed] ]. On Wednesday, we were in the Anacostia Arts and Culture District to?celebrate MuralsDC [ [link removed] ].?Yesterday, we honored the people who keep DC creative at the 38th Annual Mayor?s Arts Awards [ [link removed] ].?

And tonight, we kick off the grand finale and a community favorite: Art All Night. Once again, Art All Night will be a two-night celebration. There will be free activations across all eight wards tonight (Friday, September 29). Then, the fun continues tomorrow for a second day of performances and art. This year, we added a new feature: Dine All Night [ [link removed] ].?

Art All Night activations are happening in neighborhoods and at libraries across DC and I encourage you to check out what's happening and plan your experience at?dcartallnight.org [ [link removed] ].

Sincerely,

Muriel Bowser
