Washington Stand: Decline of Christianity Linked to Collapse in Marriage and Fatherhood, Experts Say |
Via Washington Stand
The Pew Research Center shared survey results earlier this month on the structure of the “modern American family.” The report stated, “The American family has undergone significant change in recent decades. There is no longer one predominant family form, and Americans are experiencing family life in increasingly diverse ways.” Experts say this familial breakdown is connected to the breakdown of Christianity in the U.S.
Compared to 1970, the home of a married mom and dad with children all living together has dropped from 67% to 37%. Reportedly, much of the decline is due to the normalization of unmarried adults living together. Another survey done by Communio, an evangelical nonprofit organization, yielded similar results, arguing that the decrease in Christianity as linked to a “collapse of marriage [and] fatherhood.”
This survey found 80% of churchgoers were people who had parents who stayed married. Additionally, adults who had a “close relationship” with their fathers had a 25% higher chance of sharing their parent’s faith. J.P. De Gance, the founder of Communio, noted many atheists come from homes with absent fathers or broken relationships with fathers. Moreover, how marriage is viewed bleeds into statistics on fatherhood, loneliness, and Christianity. “For those in the church interested in seeing a renewal of faith, [we] need to see a renewal of marriage,” Gance said, adding that “Christian marriage” needs to be “central.”

Life News: Planned Parenthood Celebrates “Safe Abortion Day” Right After Killing Woman in Botched Abortion |
Via Life News
Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry celebrate “International Safe Abortion Day” every year.
The whole thing is a complete misnomer because there is no such thing as a safe abortion. Abortions kills babies and they kill or injure women. Countless women. We’ll never know how many millions of women have been injured by abortion but we know abortions have killed 100s of millions of babies worldwide, and 65 million just in the United States. Ironically just days after we learned that Planned Parenthood killed another woman in a failed abortion, it celebrates this misnamed day.
As LifeNews reported, news has just surfaced that Alyona Dixon, 24, died on September 28, 2022 after complications from the abortion forced her to seek emergency medical treatment four days after the abortion at Planned Parenthood. Her family is now suing the Las Vegas hospital that treated her, saying it did not provide adequate medical care for the abortion complications.
At the Planned Parenthood abortion center, Dixon received the dangerous mifepristone abortion pill that has killed dozens of other women and injured thousands. The pill has been linked to sepsis, which has killed other women taking the abortion drug, including Dixon. “Abortion is never safe for an unborn child and can jeopardize the life of her mother,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Unlimited abortion is contrary to the very idea of safety.” |
