John, Donald Trump is on our front doorstep.
Today, Trump is attending the California Republican Party convention in Anaheim -- where he is sure to spout misinformation while bolstering Republicans in our state.
But tomorrow is the kicker: He will be in Costa Mesa for a $23,000 per ticket fundraiser. This is a huge event, and all eyes will be on our Orange County community.
All that to say, this is a big week for our campaign. Trump is in town to fundraise for his campaign, and his appearance will no doubt be a boost for local Republicans like our opponent Scott Baugh.
Baugh narrowly lost to Rep. Katie Porter in 2022. Now, he is quickly gaining support from the national GOP.
This goes to show just how important this race will be in 2024 -- for the House majority, and in our efforts to keep CA-47 blue.
