Friend, I just got out of a strategy meeting at the DSCC, and I've got bad news: Right now, grassroots fundraising for September is lagging far behind where we need to be. With the public end-of-quarter deadline quickly approaching, I'm counting on folks like you to chip in $5 now to help make up the gap before it's too late.

We truly cannot afford to fall short here. At the end of this month, Democrats across the board have to publicly report our fundraising numbers to the FEC. Mitch McConnell is going to be looking for any cracks in our defense. And if we post low numbers, it'll send him a clear sign that control of the Senate is right there for the taking.

The stakes couldn't be higher, friend. Democrats are going to be defending more than twice as many seats as Republicans in 2024, including in battleground states like Michigan, Ohio, and Nevada. And even if just one of our incumbents loses, we could be saying goodbye to our Senate majority.

Just take a look at how tough this map is. I truly can't remember another election year like it. 

We're up against stiff odds, and every single dollar is going to make a difference. So please, can you chip in $5 or more now to help defend our Senate majority and ensure that we can win in key battleground states?
