We know it's getting late on a Friday, and we know we've sent a number of emails about tomorrow's official FEC fundraising deadline already.Our hope is that you don't take these messages as an annoyance, but as a sign of just how important your support is to our campaign.

Unfortunately, with less than 36 hours to go until we close the books, we still have some ground to make up if Ilhan's going to hit our grassroots fundraising goals for September.

These goals we set are not arbitrary.

We don't pick numbers out of a hat, spin a big colorful wheel, or throw darts at a wall. They're carefully-calculated benchmarks we need to hit if we're going to have the resources required to win. Plain and simple.

The truth is that hitting these goals can be the difference between getting on the air with another TV ad next year, opening offices across the district, or fully-funding our GOTV operation on the ground — or not.

So please. Can Ilhan count on you to make a contribution before tomorrow night's FEC fundraising deadline? This is important.
