Friend, we are so excited to announce this year’s Suicide Prevention Advocate of the Year, Dylan Mulvaney (she/they)! This award recognizes public figures who champion the LGBTQ community and advocate for mental health awareness.
Actress, comedian, content creator, and trans activist, Dylan’s TikTok ([link removed]) series, “Days of Girlhood,” documented her life and transition in a true, authentic way – catapulting her into the spotlight with over 1 billion views. Dylan has emerged as a source of trans joy and inspiration for many LGBTQ young people and allies and has worked tirelessly to educate audiences on gender identity and allyship and advocate for trans people.
“I am deeply honored to accept The Trevor Project's Suicide Prevention Advocate of the Year award,” said Dylan. “To anyone feeling lost or scared, I want you to know that you are so incredibly loved and there is light after the moments of darkness. Always remember that you are never alone, you are perfect just the way you are, and organizations like The Trevor Project are here to provide a safe space to talk whenever you need, 24/7.”

This past spring, Dylan hosted her “365 Days of Girlhood: LIVE” celebration at New York City’s iconic Rainbow Room. This event was the culmination of her series and featured a guest list of celebrity allies, supporters, and advocates – raising nearly $200K in support of The Trevor Project to serve LGBTQ young people!
