You probably heard that Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) has been charged in a bribery and corruption scandal, with almost half-a-million dollars in cash found stuffed in closets around his home.
Senator Menendez is a Democrat -- but corruption isn’t okay when Republicans do it, and it isn’t okay when Democrats do it either. This week we surveyed PCCC members about whether or not Menendez should resign, and a whopping 95% said yes!
But Menendez says he "isn’t going anywhere."
Congressman Andy Kim (D-NJ) has taken an important, brave step to hold Senator Menendez accountable. He was the first elected official in New Jersey to call for Menendez to resign -- and then announced he would run against him in the U.S. Senate primary.
The end of quarter filing deadline is in just a couple days, and the political world will be watching to see how many people support Andy Kim’s brave move.
Can you help pitch in a few dollars now to help send a message that Andy Kim is doing the right thing by holding Bob Menendez accountable?
Here is the link to contribute through ActBlue.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
