Hi John,

Earlier this week, Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes reached out to warn you about the election-denier wing of the Republican party that Donald Trump and the MAGA movement created.

Remember: Fontes defeated Mark Finchem, one of the most extreme candidates to ever run for secretary of state. Finchem even marched at the Capitol on Jan. 6 in an attempt to overturn President Biden’s victory.

If you’re with us in our fight to defend free and fair elections from extremist, MAGA Republicans like Mark Finchem, will you make a donation now? [[link removed]]

Hi John, it’s Adrian Fontes – Arizona Secretary of State and the Democrat who defeated MAGA-extremist Mark Finchem last November.

In a minute, I’m going to ask you to make a $3 donation [[link removed]] to the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State, but first I want to explain why your support is so important.

I won’t sugarcoat this: Donald Trump and his election-denier wing of the Republican Party have been waging an unprecedented assault on our democracy.

I witnessed this first hand last November when I ran against Mark Finchem – one of the most extreme election-deniers who ran for public office in 2022.

Finchem routinely parroted Donald Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was stolen – even going so far as to join the Jan. 6 riots in an attempt to overturn President Biden’s victory.

Finchem took one thing away from the failed coup attempt: the only way to get away with it the next time is to change the players who could rubber stamp a Trump win – even if he lost.

While Finchem may have been defeated (though he has yet to concede), the sad truth is election-denying extremists like him are jumping into local and statewide races every day.

Luckily, my friends at the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State are monitoring these threats and are gearing up for the long fight ahead, but they need the support from grassroots Democrats like you.

That’s why I’m asking you to make a small $3 donation to the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State ahead of their end-of-quarter fundraising deadline so they can elect democracy defenders across the nation. [[link removed]]
