Tomorrow is the last day of the quarter. Afterward, all our numbers will become public — and my Republican opponent will know exactly how strong our campaign is.
There’s no sugarcoating it: last quarter, my opponent outraised us. Even though we brought in hundreds of more individual donations, he got big checks from fossil fuel giants, Big Pharma, the gun lobby, and Kevin McCarthy.
This quarter, we must show we have the grassroots support to take on my opponent and his wealthy donors.
Our campaign already has incredible momentum. We’ve been endorsed by the League of Conservation Voters, Emily’s List, End Citizens United, labor unions, and public servants like Mark Kelly and Kris Mayes. With over a year to go, we’ve already received more national support than we did at any point last year.
I know we can flip this seat — but first, we need to hit our fundraising goal.
Last year, we came so close to winning. Even though we were outspent 6:1, we only lost by one percentage point. Next year will be different.
Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District deserves a leader who will fight for our working families, reproductive rights, schools, water security, and local economy. That’s exactly what I’ll do.
