For more than 35 years, EMILYs List has shown us what it looks like to truly invest in the future we want.

This organization has helped elect thousands of women, at every level of government, all across the country. I'm one of them, and I've seen how their support makes a real difference.

The EMILYs List team has an important $200,000 End-of-Quarter goal to hit before midnight tomorrow. All eyes are on the reproductive rights movement, and everyone from political pundits to right-wing Republicans will be combing through our FEC reports to see just how strong our team really is.

So, I'm asking: Can you split a donation between my campaign and EMILYs List to support Democratic pro-choice women running up and down the ballot this cycle?

Let's back up for a second. Before I was ever an EMILYs List-endorsed candidate, I was a member of this millions-strong pro-choice community, just like you.

Back in the 1980s, when I was teaching law, I got a piece of mail from EMILYs List. As I read all about this brand-new organization aiming to help elect Democratic pro-choice women, I thought, "Hey, that's a good idea!" So I mailed back a small check and became a proud EMILYs List member.

Decades later, in 2011, I was contemplating a run for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts. Stephanie Schriock, then-president of EMILYs List, flew to Boston, sat across a table from me, and helped me decide to throw my hat in the ring. So I ran -- and, with the support of EMILYs List, I won.

I know firsthand how powerful support from EMILYs List can be. And this cycle, the EMILYs List team has already endorsed dozens of women -- myself included -- who will dream big and fight hard to protect the rights and opportunities of all Americans. But they can't support any of these rockstar candidates without this team, John. That's why I'm reaching out today, ahead of the biggest fundraising deadline so far this year, to ask for your support.
