It was an almost 140% increase from 2021 — and there’s an obvious reason why.
In 2021, Michael won an important victory with the passage of the expanded Child Tax Credit. This law helped struggling parents afford school supplies, buy clothes for growing kids, and get dinner on the table. Nearly 90% of children in Colorado benefitted.
But in 2022, Congress let this bill expire. And now, five million children are suffering the consequences.
Michael has been a champion for the Child Tax Credit since 2011. He’s fighting hard for a permanent expansion — and won’t give up until it’s a reality.
