Remember when there was supposed to be a giant "red wave" last year, but Democrats shocked the nation, proved the political pundits wrong, and overperformed in elections across the country?
Well, I’m here to tell you that our momentum hasn’t stopped. According to FiveThirtyEight, Democrats have over-performed our baseline in 24 of the 30 special elections this year!
We learned a lot last year by listening to supporters like you. We criss-crossed the district, traveling over 100,000 miles by the end of the campaign, and made some serious progress in our communities.
We’re continuing to listen to you as we determine together how we can flip the 8th. As you can imagine, one of the key determining factors will be having the resources we need to run a winning campaign.
