Again I am putting aside my queasy discomfort around political fundraising and reaching out (yup again) on behalf of my super hard-working husband. As you may already know from the many political texts and emails you receive, Angus and his team have a major fundraising deadline tomorrow. I, too, am coming to you for much-needed (and surely to be appreciated) support.

I have heard from many of you — and hope you agree — that Maine people need and will continue to benefit from Angus’ steady, reasonable and principled voice. Individuals and families in Maine and across the country are feeling and worried about the long-term effects of partisan dysfunction in Washington more than ever.

As I’ve mentioned, among the many challenges of being an Independent, fundraising remains an almost-daily task.
