Friend,
I'm reaching out to you today not just as a combat veteran, but also as a businessman and proud seventh-generation Pennsylvanian. My decision to enter this race is deeply personal, rooted in my unwavering belief in the strength and resilience of our great nation.
The events surrounding the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan shook me to my core. It was not just a strategic misstep; it was a moment of humiliation. An embarrassment, a stark display of incompetence, and a glaring lack of accountability that left me sick.
Unfortunately, our country's challenges go beyond Afghanistan.
President Biden’s policies have left us with inflation at a 40-year high, hitting hardworking families the hardest.
Instead of giving our kids the tools to excel in reading, math and science, our schools are rewriting our history and painting our country as evil.
Our military is prioritizing climate change policies and woke ideologies at the expense of strategy and readiness.
It's not just bad policy; it's a systematic shift that is diverting us from our true course. It's a display of weakness when strength is needed, and a dangerous embrace of "wokeness" that threatens the values we hold dear.
No one is denying that our country is in decline, Friend, but no one is offering solutions to fix it. That’s what I plan to do for Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate.
My decision to run is driven by a deeply-rooted belief in solutions, not rhetoric. We need forward-thinking leaders in Washington now more than ever.
I am dedicated to pushing back against the forces that have steered Pennsylvania and our country down the wrong path. If you're ready to join the fight for a stronger Pennsylvania, if you're committed to pursuing solutions that will uplift all Americans, then I invite you to stand with me today.
Your support will make a world of difference. Please consider making a contribution of any amount to our campaign as we launch our fight for Pennsylvania.
Thank you,
Dave McCormick
