I want to quickly chime in and “second” Colleen’s email below. I know we can win this fight and keep PA-08 blue, but Republicans are pulling out all the stops to win here.
While National Republicans are relying on dark money and cheap attacks to win this race, I’m relying on you, John. I know there are a lot of good candidates and causes out there to give to, but I’m asking you to give to our campaign because this is a critical swing seat that Republicans are gunning for to retake the House.
At midnight tonight, our Rapid Response Fund closes and Colleen and I will have to make some decisions on how to budget our response to this latest round of GOP attacks. Would appreciate a contribution before then if you can. I’m dropping a secure link below:

I’ll tell you what I’m nervous about, John.
I’m nervous that people won’t believe how much danger Matt’s seat is in until it’s too late.
I’m nervous that people will just look back to Matt’s past wins and record as a champion for the folks of PA-08, and figure that he can pull it out again without their help. But 2020 won’t be like Matt’s past races, and let me tell you why:
‣ National Republicans started attacking early. Since last November, Matt has been pummeled by attack ads funded by shady dark money groups.
‣ The attack ads started working, which is why an election analyst changed Matt’s race rating from “Lean Democrat” to “Toss-Up”.
‣ Conservative media site the National Journal called PA-08 one of the GOP’s “most promising pickup opportunities.”
‣ Now, one of Matt’s Republican opponents has expanded the reach of negative ads to radio, where he has personally launched attack ads against Matt.
