Over the past months as we worked to protect our democracy, I was grateful every day that the American people elected a Democratic House majority last November. Without that, I don’t know where we would have been.

That’s why I’m reaching out today:

TJ Cox, my friend and colleague in the California delegation, is headed for what could be the most competitive House contest in 2020. His 2018 opponent David Valadao is back for a rematch, and he has the early blessing of President Trump and the entire Republican establishment in Washington.

TJ’s seat was one of the seven we flipped in California, and a big part of why we were able to flip the House. TJ is running a grassroots powered campaign, but the reality is he’s being outraised and outspent by his opponent. If we want to keep this California House seat blue, he needs our help:
