John,

Over the summer, Republicans released their climate plan. Project 2025 is a 900-page blueprint for a Republican president’s presumptive first 180 days in office.

The plan was crafted by former Trump officials and a right-wing think tank linked to notorious oil baron Charles Koch, so you can imagine it’s heavy on oil and gas drilling and light on what needs to be done to protect our planet.

That’s why we need to fight to ensure this plan is never put to work, but we don’t have billionaires to bankroll us. We have you. Will you give $24 today to fund our 2024 election work?

If carried out, Project 2025 would:

Halt efforts to expand the country’s power grid to accommodate new clean energy;

Cut funding for government agencies working on environmental justice and renewable energy;
Block states from adopting standards to reduce car pollution and
Fully repeal the Inflation Reduction Act while giving an additional boost to fossil fuel drilling and exploration.

We must defeat climate-denying candidates in 2024 for the sake of our future and many other reasons. We need to elect a Congress that will move forward with more climate action, not roll back the progress and wins we’ve made thus far.

Food & Water Action also has a plan — we’ll be knocking on thousands of doors in key districts around the country in the year ahead to make sure we elect climate leaders to Congress, not climate-denying, corporate shills. But we can’t make progress without your support. Join our critical 2024 election campaign by giving to Food & Water Action.
