I’m fortunate to have such an incredible role model as my father. He’s been doing this work for a long time -- ever since the age of 12 when he led his youth NAACP chapter. My dad has dedicated his life to making South Carolina and our country more equitable for all Americans -- from organizing to desegregate lunch counters and fighting for voting rights during the 1960s Civil Rights Movement to his work today in Congress getting broadband into more homes and making health care more affordable. 

My dad is also committed to electing the next generation of diverse Democratic leaders and he is working to support strong candidates on the ballot again in 2024. But he can’t do it without the support of people like you, John.

Before tomorrow’s FEC deadline, I want to show my dad how much support he and Democrats have going into the election year. Any amount you can spare would mean a lot.
