Since 2015, our Liberal team has been focused on investing in Canadians – including record new investments in public transportation, green infrastructure, and clean technology. And for me, progress like this was a leading reason why I jumped into the political arena as a new candidate, so I could help keep Canada moving forward. Because there’s so much more to do.

Together, we’re stepping up to fight climate change by committing Canada to net-zero emissions by 2050 and making sure that this corner of the planet will be clean and green for future generations. We’re working to create good new jobs for Canadians by ratifying the new NAFTA, keeping Canadians safe by cracking down on gun crime, and taking important steps towards national universal pharmacare.

Our approach is about moving forward together, but Conservative leadership hopefuls are doubling down on the same divisive politics and failed policies that we all remember from Stephen Harper. In a minority Parliament, we can never take our progress for granted – and it’s only possible with your hope, hard work, and support.
