Being on the ground in our communities, engaging directly with Canadians, and understanding what priorities matter most to you, has always helped shape our progress to keep Canada moving forward – and this summer was no different.

After a summer of hard work, our Liberal team is back in Parliament this month, and we’re taking immediate action to make life more affordable, grow the middle class, and build an economy that works for all Canadians.

We’ve introduced a plan that will help make housing more affordable by eliminating the GST on new rental builds and help small businesses. And that’s on top of our work to help stabilize the price of groceries, deliver $10-a-day childcare, introduce dental care, build more homes, and
provide a Grocery Rebate for Canadians.


But we can’t take our progress for granted with Pierre Poilievre and his Conservatives continuing to push reckless policies that would make cuts to the middle-class and import far-right American-style politics here to Canada.
