On Thursday night, our Minnesota House DFL Majority passed not one, but TWO long-overdue common-sense gun safety measures: Background checks and extreme risk protection orders.

On Wednesday night, they passed the Alec Smith Insulin Affordability Act to ensure Minnesotans with diabetes can afford the medicine they need to survive.

This is what progress looks like, friends.

The Governor and I are proud allies of the advocates leading both of these fights, and we know our job is not done until these bills become law. That’s why I’m following up with you today, we can only get this done if we have partners in the Senate who are willing to address these critical issues.

Our last end-of-month deadline before these critical measures head to the Senate is TONIGHT and we need to hit our $10,000 grassroots goal to prove that this team is ready to keep the pressure on:

Will you contribute $5 or more by MIDNIGHT? We’re trailing behind by more than $2,200 right now and we could use your help.

I’m so grateful for everything you do for our state. I’ll be checking in with our campaign team to monitor our progress as we approach our deadline.

Thank you,

Peggy Flanagan
