John – When there is a qualified Democrat on the ballot, voters show up...and we win .

To the tune of 44%, in fact! For the thousands of folks we've helped to put their name on the ballot for a local office in their community, we win about 44% of the time.

To be on track to recruit and support local candidates to run in critical states next year, we've got to build up resources today. - A mom in North Carolina who wanted a stronger voice for students won a seat on her local school board and then decided to run for State Senate, too.
- A West African immigrant jumped right in and won a seat on the city council in his new hometown in Minnesota.
- A mom, veteran, and scientist had the future of her kids in mind when she ran and won a seat in the Arizona Legislature.

Our 44% win rate means that we're turning red counties into purple counties and laying the foundation to see Democrats win up and down the ballot.

We don't let Republicans go uncontested. We will compete against them. Even in red areas. Even in places that were long ago overlooked. Even in places where Democrats thought they were abandoned.
