It’s Rep. Maxwell Frost. When my friend Becca Balint and I were sworn into Congress together this past January, our freshman class made headlines as the most diverse class in congressional history.

Together, Becca and I are fighting tooth and nail for progressive change for all Americans, regardless of zip code or identity. And when it comes to calling out MAGA extremists like Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor Greene, I wouldn’t rather have anyone else by my side.

With the election year right around the corner, Becca and I are both focused on gearing up our campaign operations — and in order to hire more staff on the ground, run ads, and everything else needed to run successful campaigns, we need all hands on deck before the Sept. 30 end-of-quarter deadline. Becca has already shown that she is a powerful voice in Congress by speaking out for LGBTQ+ youth, calling out lies and disinformation, and going toe to toe with MAGA extremists. But now, because of her unwillingness to back down in the face of their bullying, she is a target of the far-right.

After this filing deadline, it’s all but guaranteed that MAGA extremists will pore over Becca’s and my finance reports to determine how formidable we are as candidates. Putting up strong fundraising numbers is absolutely critical, John.
