John,
Just last weekend, we helped organize a UAW rally in Wentzville, MO where Rep. Cori Bush was joined by sister-in-service Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, local UAW presidents and workers in solidarity as workers rise up on strike to demand their right to fair pay, better benefits, and improved working conditions.
Cori is honored to stand in solidarity with United Auto Workers during this historic strike.
She’s also proud to have delivered $1 million in community project funding to create -- with the support of the UAW Labor Employment and Training Corporation (LETC) -- a premier Automotive Repair Training center in St. Louis to provide basic and advanced automotive technology training to unemployed, underemployed, and incumbent workers. The LETC’s work will drive middle and high skilled employment utilizing apprenticeship models and career pathways in the changing automotive technology industry.
The estimated annual economic impact will bring in $4.2 million directly to the region.
Cori delivers for workers’ rights in Congress and at home -- now we need to ask you to deliver for her. With the critical end-of-quarter deadline only days away, will you contribute $5 to send Cori Bush back to Congress now?
DEADLINE: DONATE NOW
In solidarity,
Team Cori
