Here we go, John…
As the race for Louisiana Secretary of State ramps up, the Republican nominees just can’t seem to let go of the conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.
Here’s a snapshot of the latest debate and where folks stand:
Brandon Trosclair refuses to acknowledge that President Biden legitimately won the election, offering only conspiracy theories.
Trosclair also said he doesn’t trust voting machines and directed folks to his website, where they could find a nonworking link to “Brandon Explains Hand Counting” … whatever that means. |

Nancy Landry tried appealing to both sides, claiming there were “some very troubling allegations” of voting irregularities in swing states. We guess she didn’t look at the dozens of lawsuits and audits proving otherwise. |
Donald Trump wasn’t a part of the debate, but the same MAGA, election-denying talking points he and his allies have parroted were. It’s clear the anti-democracy movement he’s created isn’t going anywhere. |
