Ending gun violence has been at the forefront of my campaign. It’s what called me to action – both as the National Organizing Director for March for our Lives and as the first of my generation to be elected to Congress.

They said a young organizer wouldn’t stand a chance against the gun lobby and the NRA-bought Republicans in Congress.

And when I introduced my first bill in Congress to establish a federal office of gun violence prevention, Republicans thought they succeeded in blocking it.

But I never gave up. Now, the Biden Administration is taking action. Our collective power made this happen. This is proof that our youth-powered movement is unstoppable. And we’re just getting started.
