California is the center of the Republican universe this week. Last night we had to live through hosting the Republican Presidential Debate. That was two hours I won’t get back.

And the fun doesn’t stop! Today California has the unfortunate job of hosting Trump at the California Republican Party’s fall convention. You’d like to think Californians would know better, but alas he has a base here too. 

Here’s what Trump’s going to do: He will say some crazy stuff and then raise a bazillion dollars for GOP candidates including my opponent Kevin Lincoln. All right before the end-of-quarter deadline this week. 

I think it’s time for some counterprogramming… Will you help us counter Trump’s fundraising for my GOP opponent by chipping in $25 right now? I think we can raise $10,000 and show Trump he’s not welcome here in California!

It’s not a coincidence all these national Republicans are in California this week. Our state is at the center of the political universe. 

The GOP knows there are enough competitive seats in California alone for Democrats to take back the House next year. That’s why Trump is coming to a “blue state” like California today to rally his MAGA base and help our opponent raise boatloads of money before the end-of-quarter deadline. 

In 2024, the state that will determine who controls Congress isn’t Georgia. It isn’t Arizona. It isn’t even Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. California will single-handedly decide if Republicans stay in control. We have to win my seat if we’re going to take back the House from Kevin McCarthy and MAGA extremists. 

So, will you please rush in a donation before Trump’s speech and show Republicans we’re ready to keep California’s most competitive seat blue?
