Dear John,
MAP is pleased to announce our partnership with the National Governors Association (NGA) as part of its Disagree Better initiative, focused on elevating solutions to toxic polarization in America. MAP’s role in the effort will provide our organization with a unique platform to share the bridge building work of lawmakers in our network with an audience of US governors and other high impact leaders.
On September 12, 2023, the NGA held a convening in New Hampshire that included governors, national experts, students, and representatives of national organizations leading measures to find common ground. Layla Zaidane, President and CEO of Millennial Action Project, stood among the distinguished panelists featured at the event, which was also attended by Maine Governor Janet Mills , New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy , Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee and Vermont Governor Phil Scott .
