John, Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans are days away from driving us directly into a government shutdown.

That means economic uncertainty and potentially hundreds of thousands of furloughed federal employees.

All while they continue to collect a paycheck.

Rep. Angie Craig just introduced a bill that would eliminate Congressional pay during a shutdown, and we support it! Will you add your name to our petition demanding that Congressional pay be suspended if they can’t avoid a shutdown?

The “My Constituents Cannot Afford Rebellious Tantrums, Handle Your (MCCARTHY) Shutdown Act” would help show the House GOP for what they are:

Greedy cowards.

They’re perfectly fine using a government shutdown as a political stunt so long as they continue to get paid.
