Happy Fall! This newsletter is packed with amazing events!

Join us on the evening of Saturday, September 30th, at 6:00 pm for an enchanting blend of film and music as part of Logan Circle's Art All Night 2023! The night will commence with NEXT GENERATION SHORT TIGER, showcasing a collection of short films by emerging German talents, followed by DJ Nocturnal Wax who will be spinning captivating tunes.

On Wednesday, October 11th, at 6:00 pm, delve into the convergence of art and activism. Esteemed panelists from diverse backgrounds will delve into the evolving role of art in addressing global challenges.

Mark your calendars for October 15th when the Jazz@Goethe series continues with a performance by the jazz quintet of the Airmen of Note. This event will be hosted on the historic U Street corridor, renowned for its rich jazz heritage, featuring legends such as Duke Ellington!

Additionally, we're excited to announce another German-speaking happy hour, in collaboration with our friends at So einfach ist es! and hosted by Prost DC. This event will take place on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, starting at 5:30 pm ET.

For those interested in engineering, our Career Bridge program offers a unique opportunity for community college students and high school seniors to enhance their professional German language skills.

LOGAN CIRCLE ART ALL NIGHT: SAVOR THE NIGHT

The Goethe-Institut Washington is excited to be part of the Logan Circle’s Art All Night 2023! Join us from 6 to 9 PM for a series of short films and a DJ set with Nocturnal Wax. We will kick the night off with the 12th edition of the short film program NEXT GENERATION SHORT TIGER, which was created by German Films in 1998 with the aim to introduce young talents from Germany to international audiences.
