Barbara is the most senior woman of color in Congressional leadership, folks.

Some call that progress -- and it is -- but it’s clear we can and must do better.

2018 was the Year of Women of Color. We turned out progressive voters all across the country to help elect a record number of women of color to Congress, including Lucy McBath, Lauren Underwood, Jahana Hayes, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and more.

We changed the perception of what a leader could look like. We broke barriers. We challenged stereotypes. And we were unapologetically progressive in our fight.

But Trump continues to diminish the accomplishments of women of color with the vile, disgusting, and racist things that come out of his mouth.

So, Barbara is standing up for her sisters in Congress.
