Cutthroat, rainbow trout stocking schedule announced

Try something new this fall: Nebraska trout fishing! Nebraska Game and Parks is stocking cutthroat and rainbow trout in waters statewide this fall and winter. Try out a new fly rod or use the tackle you already have ? and bring friends; fishing for trout is a fun activity for kids or beginning anglers.
The stocking of trout began the week of Sept. 11 with cutthroat and rainbow species stocked in the Northwest District and continues weekly statewide throughout the fall and into November and December as time and weather permit. Find the schedule and list of locations on our website.
