**This is a part-time position. The incumbent will work approximately 40 hours per week during the legislative session (January - April) and 20 hours per week during the rest of the year. Work schedule and hours are slightly flexible and will be as agreed upon by the supervisor and employee. You may be required to work after hours or weekends for events, protests, or rallies.**

The Capitol Security and Visitor Services Division is hiring an *Events Coordinator. * In this role, you will provide general administrative and operational support to ensure smooth daily function and help facilitate activities for the Capitol Campus Public Space and Visitor Services Program. You will split work time between the office environment performing related administrative duties such as supporting our Tour Program and, in the field, serving as a point of contact during events. You will help with all aspects of planning, coordination, and execution of both scheduled and unscheduled events. You will collaborate and interact with numerous government and agency officials and will ensure the smooth operation of service delivery to campus users, which includes over 500,000 users a year, over 600 events per year, and 80,000 visitors on public tours!
