John, with our End of Quarter Fundraising Deadline so close, we've really been racking our brains – what can we say to convince you to chip in and join Team Delia today? [[link removed]]
🤔 Maybe we can tell you about her commitment to public service – how, at just age 17, Delia became the mail lady for her local homeless shelter and took her work a step further by helping residents apply for jobs and benefits.
🤔 Maybe we can tell you about Delia's time in the Illinois House of Representatives, where she worked to expand Medicaid access to seniors regardless of immigration status, established an elected school board for Chicago Public Schools, and fought for reproductive freedom.
🤔 Maybe we can mention that in her first year in Congress, she's done amazing things – like give the State of the Union Response on behalf of the Working Families Party, stand up against Republican nonsense, and fight to ensure veterans receive the benefits they earned.
But beyond all of the "maybes", we'll tell you that Delia Ramirez is running for Congress again because she's ready to continue being a strong champion for the issues that matter most: comprehensive immigration reform, and affordable housing!
John, we want to make sure this message reaches people across the district – our campaign needs your help! We're struggling to stay on track to meet our $9,012 End of Quarter Fundraising Goal before the deadline – will you donate any amount to ensure we reach our goal? [[link removed]]

Thank you,
Team Delia for Congress

Delia Ramirez has dedicated her life and career to public service and advocating for working families. She is a deeply rooted community leader and public servant whose values are informed by her upbringing as the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants.
In 2022, Delia was elected to represent Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District and became the first Latina Congresswoman in the Midwest. In just a few months in Congress, she has introduced legislation with bipartisan support to help student veterans, is co-leading the Dream and Promise Act, and is introducing legislation that gives tenants the right to organize. She serves as Vice Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Committee, and sits on the Veterans’ Affairs Committee. She is also a Board Member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) PAC, and CPC Special Order Hour Convener.
Delia also serves as Co-Chair of the Strengthening Democracy Task Force, as well as Vice Chair of the Equal Rights Amendment Caucus. She is a fighter who is determined to deliver for her constituents, and is working everyday to achieve equitable distribution of resources for Illinois infrastructure, clean energy, transportation, housing, healthcare, and jobs. She also advocates for federal resources so that Illinois may continue to be a welcoming state for new arrivals and asylum seekers.
