Hey friend,
I know this is probably one of many emails you’re getting from campaigns like mine ahead of the big fundraising deadline on Saturday. I also know these asks can often make it seem like the sun will fall out of the sky if you don’t donate.
Let me assure you, it won’t.
Growing up in a working class family, I know that every single donation I get is a big deal. It means someone chose to give up their morning coffee, or decided not to eat out for the week because they believe in my campaign enough to make a small sacrifice.
And friend, it’s not something I take lightly.
I’ll be honest, though: Our first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of this race is two days away, and right now, we’re still about $3,500 short on our goal. I don’t love asking for money, but if we’re going to unseat extremist Kevin Kiley, we really need to meet our first big campaign benchmark. Even if you can only give a dollar or two, your contribution will give us the strength we need to continue firing this campaign on all cylinders. Can I count on you to give?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
I’m proud to be powered by grassroots donors because it means I’m beholden only to the people of our district. And I’m especially proud when I see $1, $2, and $3 donations come in, because it means my message is resonating with working Californians.
Whether you’re able to give $1 or $100 today, every dollar we raise will get us one step closer to reaching our $10,000 fundraising goal on Saturday and winning this race in 2024. Will you make a contribution of any amount today, friend?
Regardless of whether you’re able to donate today, I’m really grateful to have you on my team, friend. People like you are what made our launch so successful, and it’ll be people like you that help us win this race in 2024.
Moving mountains together,
Jessica Morse
