How did we get here, John?
With the House GOP majority, Congress is largely no longer a place where solutions to help the American people are created. Instead, extremists are competing to see who can incite the next controversy.
They lead not to help the American people, but to get featured on Fox News. And now, we’re approaching a government shutdown and they refuse to stop it.
That’s not why I’m in Congress.
I ran for Congress because I want to work across the aisle to deliver pragmatic solutions for Sacramento County families. Despite many of my races being extremely challenging and heated, I have always prioritized my constituents every single day in office—and that’s what keeps me going.
